July 2021: Beng Yee, passed his qualifying exam and also put his first paper on the arXiv on quantum machine learning with linear photonics! Another paper on persistent homology is also up on arXiv!
June 2021: Dimitris was invited to speak on the VI ICQT 2021 held virtually in Russia along many of the world leaders in the field. He also talked at the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDig).
May 2021: Two of our pre-print works are published !
(1) First one on probing quantum phases of matter with quantum supremacy signatures is published in Physical Review B . (2) Second work on qubit-efficient encoding schemes for binary optimisation problems is published in Quantum.
April 2021: Dimitris was invited to speak at TUC the World Quantum Day. The World Quantum Day is an initiative from quantum scientists from 65+ countries, Dimitris representing Greece, and was launched on 14 April 2021. The video of his talk with title “Από την Κβαντική Φυσική στους Κβαντικούς Υπολογιστές” in Greek is available online.
