Welcome to our group website
We are working in quantum technologies with a focus in implementations of quantum computation and quantum simulation with quantum optical systems. Our research could be applied towards developing exotic high-performance quantum processors and simulators, and also for fundamental science in the area of strongly correlated quantum systems. read more.
Jan 2019: Visit of Thai Princess and her senior scientific advisor to CQT and our group. Excited to have the chance to meet her in person and discuss the potential of quantum technologies with them!
Dec 2018: Dimitris is invited to give a talk in an outreach event“Quantum Computers: How They Work and What They’ll Mean for BIG DATA and Business” presented by SGInnovate and partnered with CQT.
Nov 2018: Open postdoctoral position in “Quantum computation and quantum simulation with near term quantum devices for industry and business problems” and PhD projects in “Quantum simulation and computation with near term quantum devices”, both in CQT Singapore. Click here for more details.
October 2018: Our second Google Quantum Innovation Award this year for our work on
“Quantum simulation of exotic physics in driven quantum hardware architectures”
September 2018: Dimitris is invited to the “3d PyData Athens Meetup: Programming a Quantum Computer” organized by Warply and NumFocus where he talks about “Quantum computing and the race to quantum supremacy”
August 2018: Three new students join the group! Supanut as aPhD student, Zeijin Li for MSc and Kurniawan Tjandra for an Honours project. Welcome all!
